Lift Kit troubles

ok so i do not own a jeep, but my buddy recently installed a lift on his new 4 door, 4x4 jeep so i will be getting on here from time to time to help him out.......it is a 4" Tuff country lift, and he is having the EBS and ABS lights come on while driving.......he has not got the alignment yet, BUT he is going to........anyone else have simular problems??

I have an 07 X and it happens every time it rains and at least twice a month. When I go to the dealer they can not find anything wrong! I think they are waiting for the warranty to run out.

lol....Jeep was just given the worst score in initial value by JD and Associates. Apparently they have more problems with there new vehicles than any other auto maker. Opt for the extended warranty.

The steering wheel probably needs to be recentered.

what size tires? i asked my dealer about that problem and i was told that the lift is not the cause of the light going on but it was the size of the tires. i was told that the sensors are affected by the wheel's rpm and that if the tires are larger than 34" it will fool the sensors into thinking the tires are spinning faster than they really are, thus triggering the esp.
