Right Side Drop

anyone know of good vehicles that had strong axles in front w/ right side drop. i think scouts had a 44 in front w/ right drop. since i'm replacing everything, i might as well get a right drop axle, and not flip my dana 300. any ideas:confused:

at least a d44 or stronger.

Older Dodg 3/4 and 1 tons had passenger side drop 60's. :D

noice, do you think that's too much axle? i want 35's min. maybe bigger, but i gotta have it fit in the garage, height wise. i will be locking them, and hitting the rocks.

My TJ has 6" of lift and sits on 37's it still fits in my garage. My house was built in the 70's so I would assume I just have a standard 7" door.

Not sure if it's too much axle for you or not. They are full width so you'd have to decide if you want to get that wide. Otherwise I think there were 3 years that they did have pass. drop 44's from a waggy.

my old yj had soa w/ 2" springs and 33's and the soft top frame would rub the top of the door opening. i think i'll modify the garage door opening if i have to.

thanks man, waggy axles would be cool, anyone know what years they had right side drop.

74-79 Waggy and Cherks had the Pass side drop 44's. I think they also had disk brakes. However most of those years had auto's so they had an off set rear 44. If you find ones with a manual they will have a centered rear or then you are going to be looking for an early to mid 80's centered rear waggy 44.

thanks for the great info mr c:flipoff: what ya got?

thanks jack thats perfect. i think i'm goin 8.8 in back, and hopefully i can find a right drop 44 from a waggy up front.

nothing I haven't already answered in PM. I'd go for the Chevy 44 out of the front end of an old truck. They have stupid after market support and you can get them cheap all day long. Some will have flat top knuckles and that should be your first stop. :D Full width is second.
