Pics of Teraflex Leveling Kit w/ 33's

Just got the Teraflex Leveling Kit installed today. 285/70R17 last Thursday. I don't notice any difference in the ride, which I didn't expect to. The amount of lift the leveling kit provides is exactly what I wanted. ...for now anyway. The first picture is obviously stock wheels/tires and no lift. Next two are with.

Looks great! I put the leveling kit on a few weeks ago. Looks and rides awesome. 33's are on the list for me when the stock tires wear out.

The kit is on my X-Mas wish list...

Which TeraFlex leveling kit did you get?

I'm being lazy...how does this kit perform off road? Any issues with people flexing it and breaking stuff? I'm trying to convince myself this is sufficient for me, but the bad half wants full on rock krawler.

I have the same issue (^^this^^).... this will prob be enough for me right now however......want RK

Are these the 1.5" spring or puck leveling kits?

JOCJK 10-04-2012 01:06 PM

I have the TF spacer leveling kit with 285 DT's. Its been a great kit to get me on bigger tires without the expense of a full on lift. I've put 8,000 miles on since June, been off road 20 plus times and I'm very happy with how it performs both on and offroad. I knew when I bought it that it would be temporary and I hope to go to a 2.5 RK lift in the Spring. For 127 bucks it was a good choice to get bigger tires, a little more clearance after the expense of purchasing the jeep without having to invest another $1000 plus right off the bat. :thumb:

I'm pretty sure there's only one kit called Leveling Kit from TeraFlex.
Here's the link to Teraflex: | TeraFlex Suspensions
Quadratec price is a bit lower: Teraflex 1155200 - Teraflex Leveling Kit for 07-13 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec

I haven't tested it off road yet, but I've done a lot of reading and everything I've read there have been no issues of stuff breaking. It all comes back to what you want to do and where you want to go with your rig. For me it's the deer lease where at most it's going to be mud, hills and a creek. Nothing a stock Jeep can't handle. Maybe a trip to an OHV park for some 1's and 2's, something my rig "should" have no big issues with.

Mine is 2" pucks in the front, new control arms, and 1" pucks in the rear. Per TeraFlex, enough to run up to 34" tires.

I think those might be sway bar links, as opossed to control arms.

Looks very nice. Sharp wheels!

There are two...

Teraflex Leveling Kit
Teraflex Performance Leveling Kit

Not everyone adds the word "performance" when talking about the second one.

Nice! This is what I'm thinking of doing...

ozzy_1984 10-05-2012 06:02 AM

once I get back to the states getting the performance kit and some 33's:rolleyes:

PhotoWrangler 10-05-2012 06:31 AM

I'm thinking of doing this combo as well. It looks pretty good!

takeem75 10-05-2012 06:44 AM

From TeraFlex's website:

"You can run a 33-34" tall tire with this kit. If you prefer to run the factory wheels you may need wheel spacers for proper clearance."

Anyone have any experience if I keep my stock wheels/tires from a 2012 JKUR? Will I need wheel spacers?
