Anyone know of any trails in CT? Not too muddy, more rock climbing.

Naugatuck State Forest, use Andrew Mountain Road, you can by-pass fire road gates. Goes all the way from Naugatuck to Oxford, rocky, sometimes steep, no mud. Largely follows power lines.

Everyone gets a little ballsier if someone amongst you has a winch.

Ok awesome! Thanks. What would you recommend the jeep has for those trails?

i went to naugatuck state forest via cold springs road this past weekend and unfortunately when i got to the trailhead it was closed w/signs stating: " state property no tresspassing. " i was speechless. can't tell you how many times i went wheelin'/hiking here. hopefully it will be re-opened. i know work is being done on a small viaduct further down cold springs road; maybe that explains why the road is closed?
