What's there to do around Bentonville?

The wife and I are headed to Rogers, AR the whole second week of July for a family reunion. I can't last a whole week. So I'm going to load up my junk and take it with me.

What's there to do around NWA?? Who wants to lead the way so I don't get stuck?? :D

Dare2BSquare 06-16-2008 06:40 PM

Are you kiddin me???!!!

That's the headquarters of Wal-Mart. There's some tremendous Wal-Mart parking lots in that part of the state!!!

Happy wheeling!!! :blunt:

Oh, and speaking of :blunt: Rogers is the state capital for that!!!

MR.CLIFFORD 06-16-2008 06:41 PM

Picky!!!

If you want help, that's what Scout's here for. :D

It's about 200 miles from there to Superlift in Hot Springs. May be too much of a drive for you.

Byrds Adventure center in cass,ar is about a 30 minute drive from Fayetteville. http://www.byrdsadventurecenter.com/index.htm

Also there's tons of national forest trails in this area also and if I recall correctly there are still open for public use.

Have fun in NWA and watch out for the traffic.

Anyone else see the humor in an Arkansas Family Reunion??

Dare2BSquare 06-28-2008 03:44 PM

Hey!!!

It's easier that way. Not very many have to travel. We all live in the same house.

I don't know how Clifford escaped.

Dare2BSquare 06-28-2008 04:06 PM

BTW, I don't think Texans are completely absent of inbreeding.

JeepersdoitDeeper 06-28-2008 06:58 PM

Well... there is that section that borders Arkansas. I'm sure they have strayed a mile or two over.

MR.CLIFFORD 06-28-2008 08:41 PM

I married into it guys. I'm home grown Kansas. :flipoff:

I would suggest byrds as well! Lots of fun! Real pretty. There are some trails in Mill Creek area still open. Which is a little closer than Byrds from Bentonville.

MR.CLIFFORD 03-10-2010 02:10 PM

Thanks Jess. I could have used that info 2 years ago.:flipoff:

There is a 4x4 adventure trail park now outside of Eureka Springs on 62 north about 2 miles outside of town, the place is called Hidden Valley Ranch, the signs on 62 say 4x4 adventure park. 640 acres

have not gone out there yet, it is 25$ per day driver and an extra 10 for rider.

I had heard about that a while back and forgot it was out there! That's not far at all! I need to go check it out!

I went there and didn't enjoy it. Im not talking smack but it wasn't worth the money to me. Im used to parks like Hogan's in Disney, OK and such. I went on thier grand opening and left about an hour later. It could be way better now. BTW, this was on memorial weekend. My favorite spot is Disney. It's free and the best around. Mark Twain forest by Seligman, MO is fun and it's only about 45 minutes away from me too. I've only been there once though.
