Do they rub?

krunch 11 10-20-2012 05:29 PM

no rubbing at all thought maybe it looked like too rubber in wheel well but the more i look i think it looks good not even close too rubbing.

Well, you dont NEED a lift, but hey, we all want em right. Look into 3 inch lifts, I think 4 and above require extra work like brake line extensions and so forth. Have fun, but do it right!

Strictly a matter of opinion, I think. As long as there's no rubbing, you don't NEED a lift. Personally I prefer about 2" of lift with tires that size, but it's your Jeep, so my opinion doesn't count for much.

Go for a Teraflex leveling kit, Cant beat the price @ $127 and it gives you 2" in the front and 1" in the rear so its a nice all in one solution.

Here's my jeep same exact tires with teraflex leveling kit. I was in the middle of chopping my fenders In this pic so the front ones are chopped not the back.

so with a teraflex leveling kit is there any need to have an alignment done if your vehicle was in align before the install?

also jerkbait looks like you have 16" tires what are they 285's?

I did not need an alignment after installing my 2.5" Rough Country lift...

I think brake line extensions would be the least of your worries.

I would always suggest an alignment after doing any suspension work.
