Bigger Tires

I'm new to the jeep community and wanted to know what the biggest (height&width) size tire and what width 16" rim would I need to put on my 08 JK without lifting (for now).

LT265 75R16 (10.5X32) would be easy on on a 7" rim is ok. LT285 75R16 (11.3X33) would probably rub a bit if you did much wheeling and would require at least a 7.5" rim. With stock gearing mileage will suffer.

I'm running 17s on mine so I can't help you out but I did want to give a shout out...

as a former Coastie...some of my best friends where snipes....always like to hang out with them during the winter....:D....they got to stay warm.

I was a TT myself so I came up the ranks with the deck apes....

I have 265/75R16 Maxis Mudders on my stock 2007 X and they do not rub at all.
