$40 a good price for milk jugs?

I still have the jugs takin up space but figured I'd try and sell em instead of throwin em away. You think that's a good price for craigslist or should it go up or down for the 2 front and rear jugs with screws?

TXST8tj 10-23-2012 11:28 PM

Free is generally too much for those.

Seriously.

gixxerphil 10-23-2012 11:31 PM

If you find someone to pay that for them, send them my way so I can drop kick them square in the nuts:rofl:

Then I'll give them mine

Patrick H 10-23-2012 11:54 PM

Yeah, you find a market for those, let us all know!

Though you were looking to buy and was gonna offer you mine free

Jbib1089 10-24-2012 03:09 AM

I was just thinking the same thing the other day. I guess the only place that will take them is the dumpster lol

I offered them free, only asked for shipping, guy was nice enough to throw an extra 20 for helping him out with them.

Double_a914 10-24-2012 06:31 AM

I think I'll still put em on there, if I get lucky enough for someone to want em then awesome. If not oh well.

jgorm 10-24-2012 10:55 AM

I sold a couple sets on ebay for $40 for 2. They sold quickly.

That's what I'm talking about. But I don't have an ebay account.

Jbib1089 10-24-2012 05:36 PM

Just wondering what you guys are running on your back bumpers. I took the rear milk jugs off today and I think it just looks alkward now.

Looks like I need to get over to ebay

I put mine up on Flea-bay for $25, buy it now, and they were snapped up like a hungry hamster. I think TJ sellers who want it to look stock want them to make their heep sell faster.

I bought the Mopar flat end caps, they give the bumper a finished look I bought them for the front and back as a kit for like 22 dollars

I reuse all the factory torx bolts that held the factory end caps on, but you can get little push pins that hold them on

00tjman 10-24-2012 08:25 PM

Thanks for the info

wwch99tj 10-24-2012 08:29 PM

No problem :thumb:

Double_a914 10-24-2012 10:24 PM

I may invest in a set of those end caps myself, I agree that it looks awkward. But it looks better now than it did with those faded jugs.

Neltronic 10-24-2012 10:46 PM

Hmmm..... Am i weird to actually like how the jugs look on mine? :-)

I haven't seen those before but I might consider them.
I've seen these Armadillo Industries Xtreme Bumper End Kit for 97-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ & Unlimited - Quadratec a bit pricey though.

Neil F. 10-25-2012 06:11 AM

Go back to ebay and they have the flat caps.

Fireaxe 10-25-2012 08:42 AM

Run jug-less.....Why JEEP puts these on I'll never know.

cedar 10-25-2012 10:42 AM

I was thinking of taking them off the front and all the srews are rusted and stripped. So I guess I'm gonna get the sawsall out and go to work

Maltese 10-25-2012 08:26 PM
