Dash panel removal?
I'm going to relocate some switches this coming weekend, and I want to put them in the center dash panel where the earlier models had the airbag cutoff switch. My '05 doesn't have that cutoff switch, so it's got a blank panel there just begging for some switches. My question is how do I remove that panel without breaking something? It's the center panel, the one with the stereo, etc......I'm sure I could figure it out, just wanted to ask first before manhandling it.

usually just clips holding that stuff, just pry w/ a small screw driver till you think its gonna snap:D.

but they hide screws behind other panels, and make that panel go behind another one you can't see. if no one can tell you for sure, put up a pic. welcome to my world, i have to remove panels on cars all the time, and there's really no directions for all of them, just develop a touch to know when its gonna break, or pop right out, or where they like to hide screws.

The older models have a screw behind the ash tray and two on top under the heat vent /defroster panel.I am not sure if the 05 is that way or not though.
