Just wondering can a winch be mounted to a factory front bumper if so has anyone done it? Any pics and advice would be greatly appreciated

Quadratec is a forum sponsor. usually they have an active link on the right side of the page. Call went you order and tell them you are a forum member & you get free shipping, I think.

I bought my winch mount at Harbor Freight for $25. Had to cut the stock bumper and drill the frame. Put an ENGO 10k with synthetic line on.

There is a thread here somewhere where a guy mounted the Harbor Freight mount below the bumper & brought the cable out the middle of the bumper, between the fog lights. Looks cool, lots of work.

I'm looking but can't find it yet. I did find that Smittybuilt also has a winch mount plate for a stock bumper, similar to the harbor freight one.
