2013 JKU sport msrp $29355 24c, smokers group, auto, anti-spin, hard top, engine block heater, tinted windows and satellite radio are only options. otd 27127.00 no sales tax because I live in Montana, purchased from Dave Smith in Idaho the largest Dodge dealer in the world I believe. No hassle no haggle. Called to tell them I was headed over (about 2 hours away) and when I would be there and when I got there the jeep was ready(absolutely spotless) with a full tank of gas, salesman went over it, had me take it for a drive (it had 6 miles on it) to make sure it was what I wanted, asked me to crawl under it and examine it closely to make sure it met my expectations, signed papers and was headed back home in about an hour. No pressure to upsell or purchase extra warranties etc.

panthermark 11-07-2012 11:15 AM

The date needs to be added as well.

It is easier to get a deal in late December than early August (on the same model year).

jadmt 11-07-2012 12:16 PM

Just joined the forum. Purchased first Wrangler last week. Went from driving an Accord for 10 years on hilly back roads. Loving new Jeep.

Purchase Date: Oct 30, 2012
Model: 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara True Blue
Options: 24G, auto tran, dual tops, matching hard top, 430N, 3.73, airbags, connectivity, auto-temp, leather, remote start, max tow, anti-spin
MSRP: $40,780
Purchase price: $36,280 5% under invoice.
Any discounts used: Dealer offered $4500 off MSRP.
Trade-in value: $3500
Max-Care: $2266
Final price with tax title and license: $37,937
Warranty notes: They initially offered max-care warranty to me at $3995. The next day, they went down to $3200 at lunch and eventually matched chryslerwarrantys.com's quote at $2266 that evening. Maybe the warranty is unnecessary but I plan on driving this car for a long time. I wouldn't have gotten it if it wasn't lifetime.
Financing notes: Dealer offered me financing at 3.9% so I went to PNC Bank and got 2.5%. Took blank check from PNC back to dealer and they went down to 2.09%.

Purchase Date: Nov. 1, 2012

Model: 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport (White)
MSRP Base ($25,695)

Options: Customer Preferred Package 23S ($2400)
Connectivity Group ($485)
Trailer Tow Group ($295
Black 3-Piece Hard Top ($795)
Sirius Radio ($195)

MSRP: $30,790 (inc. $925 destination)

Purchase price: $27,375.78 (6% below invoice)

Any discounts used: Negotiation...since they wouldn't accept recent grad rebate

Final price with tax title and license: $29,608.08 (Ohio's 7% tax sucks)

Any notes about your purchase you would like to share: I went into my dealership with all my invoice pricing information...hoping to get 3% below invoice - well they were already selling the '13's for less than my max price. Pretty much got the 23S package thrown in the deal for free compared to the other JKU I was looking at. Jeff Wyler in Batavia, OH - ask for Jason!:punk:

panthermark 11-07-2012 02:01 PM

I purchased October 10th or so.

MSRP - $38,285
Invoice - $35,910
My price - $34,585 (3.7% below invoice using Affiliate Discount)
Trade in - $10,000
Rebate - $500

At no time did I ask the dealer to go lower on the price (yes, I could have squeezed him). Just give me a fair amount on my trade-in, while being straight up and honest.

I got more for my trade-in from this dealer than what other dealers offered me almost a year ago. This dealer offered my $9500. My floor was $10,000. I told them that $10,000 was the number needed or I walk. $10,000 is what Car-Max offered a few hours before, and is exactly what KBB listed it as. The tax savings makes it even better. Plus I made sure that I was not taxed on the Affiliate Discount or $500 rebate.

I go pick it up tomorrow.

Hopefully they can throw in some extra items like slush mats or wheel locks. I have them on my "to buy" list, but would prefer to save the cash.

'13 JK Rubicon purchased 09/30 if I remember right

MSRP. $35,880

I could have nickel and dimed on the price, but I more than made up for it on the financing terms. Rather have the dealer happy with the deal for future service than try to pry another few hundred bucks out of them.

None - they beat Tread Lightly by $220 after factoring in fees. I didn't have access to any other discounts, but I did manage to buy it before the 2013 price increases went into affect...which would have raised the price with these options by $475.

No service plans, rustproofing, or any other dealer options. Also no financing. I wrote a check.

I'm 99% done with my order and I'd like to think I'm getting a good deal (won't disclose the figures yet, but is a '13 JK Sport B GC+Hard Top+3.73). One thing that amazes me is some price differences north of the border (based on a 23B):
3.73 Rear Axle Ratio:
Canada: $75 (Yay!)
US: $195
Trailer Tow Group:
Canada: $475 (crap!)
US: $295
Any idea on why the differences?

Just bought my first jeep last week (11/16)!!

The sticker on my 2013 Sport S was $28,800 and I got them down to $25,999 (9.72% off MSRP). I didn't qualify for any rebates so that price was from pure negotiation. It's was pretty easy to negotiate when the dealer knew I was talking to 5 different dealerships.

I got the power convenience package, auto trans, tinted windows, hard top, and the satellite radio. It's commando green and looks sexy as hell!! lol

wrz0170 11-19-2012 08:27 PM

I have a few great deals. One is about $900 below invoice which puts it at 2-3% below invoice. The rest have hovered right at 1% below due to TL. My biggest issue has been trade. Once they see the TL or USAA pricing, the dealers became extremely stingy with my trade. They become totally disinterested in a deal. The other issue is I have not found one that I like and most likely will have to order and that's when they really clam up. They are coming in $2500-$3000 below KBB and other sources. How does one order but sell privately when the dates will most likely not coincide? Dealers in my area seem to be extremely allergic to the ordering concept. Any tips or ideas welcome.

and any notes about your purchase you would like to share:

negotiated my trade in before telling the salesman I had the 1% f&f, he was clearly not happy :whistling:
I learned my lesson from a different dealer. They quoted me at $4000 for the trade after we had talked about the new vehicle. This time around I got $6,000.

wish I would have gone with the 3.73s and added an aftermarket tow package.:banghead:

either way, I still love my Jeep:thumb:
