China Wall 11/10

A few of us areRunning china wall on Saturday if anyone is interested

Oldguy 11-07-2012 07:07 PM

I would probably be interested, I get out so little these days...

Justin04Lj 11-07-2012 08:02 PM

I may be interested. Ed how's the snow in that area? if there's any

Oldguy 11-07-2012 09:35 PM

At the moment there isn't any, barely freezing at night. Besides China Wall would be a blast in the snow ;)

Justin04Lj 11-07-2012 10:58 PM

I agree it would be fun. Didn't we do china wall in the snow a couple time earlier this year?

xxximpact05 11-08-2012 05:46 AM

I would b interested in going. This would be my first really wheeling. I've been up down some pretty radical stuff around town but nothing in the woods or long runs so not sure if this would b a good first trail but I'm up for the challenge have checked out the trail and am definately interested if y'all are ok with a newbie tagging along

Justin04Lj 11-08-2012 06:50 AM

Newbies are always welcome. I think this is the the perfect trail to get you the feel for rock crawling. Not very difficult but not to easy. I did it when I was stock. I'm in Colorado Springs if anyone else is let me know.

xxximpact05 11-08-2012 07:14 AM

Awesome. I'm pumped to go now :) thank u for the advise. I will b there. And I'm in metro Denver (Westminster) if anyone is near buy let me know

Justin04Lj 11-08-2012 08:31 AM

Its a pretty fun trail. There's a few other trail close by we could do if we get done to fast

LadyTJ 11-08-2012 10:50 AM

I'm in Westminster also. (Church Ranch & Westcliff Blvd.) If you want to meet to drive to Sheridan & Hampden let me know.

If the gulches run ends up being on Sunday, I'll probably be in on this one. Is there a springs meetup location yet?

For the springs people how about McDonalds in woodland park?

JOCJK 11-08-2012 02:18 PM

What time do people expect to be at the TH? After seeing that RAD video I'm working on talking myself into driving over Hoosier Pass for the 12th consecutive weekend.....

Yup, and if I do go you know I'm packing my mountaineering gear this time so I'm not runnning around in the snow in a hoody and t-shirt winching 7 vehicles....:D

Justin04Lj 11-08-2012 02:38 PM

This one isn't near that elevation I'd say 7500 at Max. I haven't heard what time at the TH I'm assuming 10 am

jagerhelix 11-08-2012 02:40 PM

McDonalds works, time?
