91 YJ body

Whats up everyone? This is my first post here and Im hoping to get some good advice. I purchased my YJ last year and its in decent shape(as far as running) but the body has huge holes in the normal side panel spot, around the size of a football on one side. Ive been told the holes are to big to diamond plate, what advice to any of you have on how a can proceed with fixing this? I've searched around for a body but can't seem to locate one, should I buy a fiberglass body? I eventually would like to (and have been) piece by piece rebuild as money permits. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

I had same issue on rocker panels so i went to lowes and bought my own diamond plate sheet and trimmed it to cover the holes.

either that or either put steel plates over the outside or weld some steel plates on the inside and then bondo it or buy new body panels to replace the bad ones

You could find a good used tub. I found two for my project on this forum.

Thanks for the quick replies guys. I was told buying new body panels would not be an easy project . As far as welding goes I don't have the knowledge on this;(. Im sorry for my lack of knowledge but by used tubs do you mean the actual body? I was told this would be the best route to go..? At the moment I have took sheet mettle and wrapped it in insulation, stuffed it inside the holes and the used cold weather duct tape to hold in place. It looks pretty ghetto but does the job of keeping the cold and elements out until I get this figured out..lol
