Something that stands out

What are some things I can do that I can really make my jeep stand out from the pack??? I have a 2000 yellow jeep wrangler. Any thoughts on what to do?!?

jimrjim 11-11-2012 10:25 PM

Tires and wheels were the thing that made the biggest difference. I purchased BFGoodrich mud terrain tires and copec wheels. It cost me $1200 but was worth every penny. I have a 2005 black TJ

Extra lighting, bedline the interior, bedline the grill or hood. Hell if u wanted you could put straight pipes on

jherrington 11-11-2012 10:29 PM

Aftermarket bumper.

TJspeed 11-11-2012 10:37 PM

I have a yellow TJ and it definitely stands out. Never seen another one like it.

A stinger bumper will probably get you some attention. It has a purpose too but if you just want something to stand out get a big competition style one haha.

And where did you get that netting for it?

Quickest way to take a stock Jeep to something special....

Take your top and doors off whenever you can
Rims and tires
And always wave!

giles45shop 11-12-2012 09:52 AM

Swap in 1 ton axles, 4 link the front & rear, add some 54" Boggers, a Hemi V-8, Atlas transfer case and a full roll cage and I guarantee you'll have something that stands out from the crowd.

Oh - did you mean to specify a budget for this? ;)

Bumpers, wheels and lift will be the biggest change. I'm making mine unique by swapping in a Wagoneer 44 and Ford 8.8, 3-linking the front and adding Savvy and Metalcloak armor. My LED lighting also makes mine pretty unique.

Kept meaning to ask you. What wheels do you have?

97flexy 11-12-2012 12:27 PM

Full size axle swap and 35s will set your jeep apart.

Fail!

1 tons and 40s = success.

JeepinDad 11-12-2012 12:42 PM

Custom bumpers always stand out to me. Mine has a sticker farm but the thing that makes it stick out are the tires and wheels.

A nice, thick layer of mud never hurt either :)

name your jeep and put it on the hood haha

SinfulDragon 11-12-2012 02:32 PM

This stands out. I have no idea what they have done to this poor jeep, and I wouldn't say it stands out in a good way, but different.

Looks like it may have been a YJ/CJ Has leafs in the rear. Can't really see the front. But the windshield looks like a YJ/CJ

SinfulDragon 11-12-2012 05:01 PM

Fuel Hostages. But they will be sold in favor of some Hutchinson Rock Monster Beadlocks in the black flavor in the next year.

The bumper was stock and the netting was a custom design I came up with.
