Dfw Group name

What do y'all think of DFW Crawlers. As a name for our little group.

Hey JD,

What group is that? DFW is our thread, so ask our folks on that one IMO?

50 Something

I think he meant all the folks we have been out there with the last couple of times as "the little group"

Fullsizemike 11-21-2012 09:24 PM

speaking of the little group, when's everyone heading back out there again?

BlueTJ1997 11-22-2012 02:14 PM

Thinking about Saturday.

Yes the little group that we have been going with, and of course whoever else.

Just think we could use a local group.

Going to Tolar tomorrow. Wanna go?

No body missed much...riding around in the woods pretty much, I liken to driving out to a deer feeder. 2 wheel drive for 90% of it. Now I may have missed something some where. I did have my sway bar disconnected. I think it would be great for someone new to offload period, while I'm new to Jeeps I've road 4 wheelers all my life.

I Would recommend this for Fourwheelers! But boring in jeep. I did find a few spots on some brand new trails. That I did use 4 low.
1 that was coming out of a creek bed area and was nearly straight up. But 60% dirt.

I think it's going to be a while before Tolar is half of what Bridgeport is. They will be cutting and building trails up for a long time.

BlueTJ1997 11-24-2012 06:18 PM

Ya if it last. They are way to expensive.

$30 driver. $5 per passenger.

So $40 to ride in a pasture with some woods and a few rocks.

If they would drop to about $20 a rig.
Meaning whatever fits on 1 trailer, and word got out of the price, plus they find better trails. It would ROCK!

Thanks for the update on Tolar. Much appreciated. Sounds like Bridgeport it will be since I'm off 380 in Denton already.

BlueTJ1997 11-26-2012 12:06 AM

So did you go?

GunToter 11-26-2012 01:07 AM

For a guy like me whos only "offroading" has been ranches and deer leases it was even a bit tame. Some of those rocks and hills were fun though. I think it will be better after some rain but Ive always liked playing in mud anyways. With my stock Jeep I wouldnt want to do anything real big anyways but once I build it up some Ill have to make the drive and check out Bridgeport.

Hey BlueTJ...howd it run after we left? Everything cool?

Jhibb1550 11-26-2012 05:32 AM

Did not take it anywhere this weekend. Really itching to get it dirty though. Will b a couple weeks now before I can head out. I'll reach back out when ready though.

BlueTJ1997 11-26-2012 03:42 PM

Still running weird. I drove it to town today but its not like it should be.

You can run Bridgeport stock. Just don't hit anything higher than a two diamond.

GunToter 11-26-2012 06:25 PM

That's what I've heard, it's just a little too far for me to drive and only be able to do 1s and 2s. If I make that drive I wanna play on the biger stuff.

BlueTJ1997 12-03-2012 04:08 PM

Understand that.

Just get front discos. Think you would be surprised.
