Will it fit in the Garage??

I am thinking about putting a 3inch lift with 35's. Will my jeep still fit in the average size garage with this lift. Has anybody had issues with this? If so what is your recommendation on lift and tires?
Thanks

Just measure how much clearance you currently have the then add 3" + the [(35 - current tires size) divided by 2] and if that is less then your current clearance it will fit. I don't think there is such a thing as a standard garage height anymore when it comes to the actual openings and how far down the garage door actually hangs.

Ok thank you. I just don't want to make it to big. Now, I would love to put 37inch tires. But that would not fit in the garage for sure.

Mine doesn't fit. 4 inch lift 35's..

Yj. 4" lift. 33's. I've got about 3" clearance. My Honda fits in with the door half way opened. Haha

Is it true you can fit 33's on a stock jeep. No lift?

I doubt it... I wouldn't attempt it.

It wouldn't fit with a 3 inch lift. I would hit the door. I would say that if you have any type of lift, with larger than stock tires, you're going to have trouble fitting. I don't have pics of the jeep next to the garage door. But I'll post a pic of my jeep for you.

Cool jeep. I hope to add wheels and tires soon.

Thanks buddy.. Those pictures are kind of old.. Since those were taken I've done some work to it, I'm in the process of blacking it out, and applying some camo (Advantage Max4) patterns to it. It's a work in progress. but currently looks much better, in my opinion than these pics.

What kind of rubber are you going for? Post pics of your ride.

Very nice.. Throw some 35's on that bad boy and roll..

My tj with a 2.5" OME suspension lift and 1.25" body lift with 35's fits with about 1/4" to spare.

I consider my garage shorter than average. I have to hold the door up slightly higher with a pair of vice grips on the track to get it to fit.

That just sounds like way too much work to get a vehicle into the garage. But with that pretty new white Sahara, it may be worth the extra effort

My jeep is on a 4 inch lift with 33 inch tires Nd there is about an inch or less of clearance
