Catahoula Offroad park in Sicily island la. thanksgiving weekend. First time going and wanted to check it out at night after we first got there, just took a bad line down and rolled it on its side. Minimal damage on the front passenger side fender and a few scuffs on the rear flare. I'm getting close to ordering some metal cloaks anyways. Very fun weekend though

very cool :thumb: How much did that cost you?

$250 for the coils springs. My originals were sagging a lot. the 2" lift raised the front 3.5" and the reat 3". The 4 bilsteins were another $300. The budweiser was $15.

and the look you receive from other Jeepers... Priceless

What springs did you go with. Did you have to put longer sway bar links or anything else on with the coils. i am thinking of going the same route.

Lets see, removed stock step and the flare thingy, glad I did as I found a quarter sized rust spot on each side, fixed:thumb: New Cooper Discoverer STT's 32x11.5x15 And removed the "wrangler" and "sport" decals

I did only the BDS springs and shocks. I may need bump stop extensions but I have not check that yet but I will before I do any serious wheeling and I do have a tiny vibration but I am going to a TT soon so I will live w/ it for now.

Here is my review with coil part numbers

You should out some thing like a rock guard in place of the plastic step ups. I have bottomed out a few times and its saved my jeep from taking dents

Nothing like a sye kit with a Tom woods drive shaft!! And a Novak shifter

Coastiejeep 11-28-2012 09:38 PM

How was the Novak install that is gonna be my next upgrade?

surfin527 11-28-2012 09:56 PM

Real easy I haven't gotten the chance to use it yet but from what I hear I can't wait it's supposed to do wonders to the shift...
