New to jeeps

Checking in - will pick up my truck (01 sport on 33" duratracs) Tuesday. Cut my driving teeth in a lifted 77 scoutII, but have not done serious wheeling since then. Will have lots of questions, am sure. Looking forward to my first trail run!

Would love to get the Jeep out on some trails! Has anybody wheeled in Rausch Creek? We have no wheeling experience, would this be a good place to start?

Thanks! I am interesting in wheelin' - but want to start slow because I'm not exactly sure what I have here; not sure of what diffs are in the jeep, or even the brand of lift. Haven't had these tires off-road either.

Sounds good

Rausch is near Pine Grove, PA . I think it is like one hour north of Harrisburg. I think I am going to check out the intro course they have: Off Roading 101. The Web site isn't great but, they have trail maps and a calendar for events. Looks like trails range from easy to super technical. They are on facebook too. They have some cool photos, looks fantastic.

I don't know of anything on those dates, but looks like there is a Coal tour on Jan 6th. If you could draw out your trip just one more day, it may be worth checking out.

So far I've enjoyed the truck. (:p) - Feeling very confident; weather or the appocalypse, I think I can get where I need to be.
