Just thought I would share this with the world. Just bought the the Trailblazer 4" susp. lift kit from Rocky Road Outfitters and installed it on my '04 Rubicon. First off - it took 2 months for me to get it, and even then, I didn't get everything I ordered. I got tired of waiting so I cancelled the rest of the order and and re-ordered from another place. They kept telling me that the items were on back order and they should get them any day- that went on for 3 weeks. Second- there is not one word of instruction included with the kit. Third - their tech department is useless. They probably know more about the space shuttle than they do about lift kits, which is nothing. I emailed them several times and got no reply so I called them. I would have been better off asking my wife the questions. They even told that they had never actually installed their kit on a Rubicon - that was comforting. They also claim that with their kit, the t-case does not need to be lowered on a Rubicon. This is true if you can live with the vibration. I had to lower mine 1".

I am really sorry to hear about all the hassle you went through, just to get a lift. I guess we are blessed here south of Fort Worth. We have a great Jeep store,(Jeep Outfitters), that we can order anything we need very quickly. The owners are very helpful, and run lifts on all of their Jeeps. They have even added a two bay garage, to actually do the work for you, if you aren't mechanically inclined. It is a shame that there aren't great shops like this in every town.
I have never met two, more stand up guys, than the ones that own this store.

Sorry about your luck. Probably a good idea to ask questions before you buy, I guess.
