Age

I'll be the big "five 0" in January, I've owned two jeeps in the last five years. Enjoyed both of them. Traded in a 2006 Mini Cooper S covertible 6 spd for my latest one.

Unless this was the Jeep

http://www.toysrus.com/graphics/prod...10300008dt.jpg,

I'd have told him "STFU, children should be seen and not heard."

BAP 12-14-2012 08:51 AM

you should have told him he was to young to own one,,,,and that could really be the truth,,,,-it takes maturity(that i dont have at 51-lol) to own one..they are not your car,truck,suv,-they are an animal all there own.. THEY ARE JEEP,S

springr 12-14-2012 08:53 AM

Zurn 12-14-2012 09:53 AM

48 and on my fifth Jeep in my life.

Timberline 12-14-2012 09:56 AM

ppfffttt...I think of it this way, if you are 40 or older then you probably have more money, a stable job, a better sense of taste, and a knowledge of responsibility. All of these things lead up to guys at that age building some bad ass Jeeps!!! Young kids can "sometimes" make some horrible choices on how to "mod" their Jeeps. I am very jealous of some of the Jeeps I see which are modded and driven by older people!!

freeltm 12-14-2012 10:02 AM

Just turned 40 in July. Bought my second Jeep last month. So, no it's not.

s14sh3r 12-14-2012 10:41 AM

You had some kid who was jealous :D

jokerchief462 12-14-2012 10:47 AM

58 and going strong. Bought it built it and use on the weekends to get to hiking trails and get some exercise and fresh air. Love the Jeepers here in Vegas lots of trailing to see some Nevada history and get off the couch and out of the house. I am really sorry I ever sold my old 76CJ back in 80. It was the most fun I ever had driving until now.

Shrimp 12-14-2012 10:49 AM

I hope when im 40 i will have owned several jeeps. If my jeep breaks beyond repair i will go buy another one.

You shouldn't post pictures like that... Now I'm at work and all I want to do is go drive up something.

Mody n Domy 12-14-2012 11:10 AM

Bought my first CJ when I was 20. Bought my JK when I was 57 am now 58 and loving the Jeep. Only difference is I don't get nearly as crazy with the JK as I did with my CJ. All the bumps and ruts are a little harder on the body and not the JKs but mine!

hbgirl 12-14-2012 11:22 AM

Haha, I just turned 45, and bought my first earlier Jeep this year ... have wanted once since I saw a neighbor's CJ-7 back in 1981'ish. Finally could justify the expense, and it's the first vehicle I've owned that makes me grin just to hop in. :)

I won't own anything else now; grab a few other ladies and form the Gravel Grannies Jeep Club in a couple decades ...

IslandTJ 12-14-2012 11:38 AM

45 and been driving my 1st and only Jeep for 15 years :)

JeepCreeper 12-14-2012 11:41 AM

Just turned 52 yesterday. On my 2nd Jeep. Most likely not my last. I'll keep my current one forever, babying it, probably get another someday. Maybe a Hover Jeep. :D
