The lift is installed!

... And I have the sore bones to prove it.

Oh, and a pic. It's a RE 2.5" lift, currie boomerangs on the rear and currie straight shackles on the front, and 31x10.5 Duratracs. We only had to cut one frame-end spring bolt and the rest went pretty smoothly. I gained over 4 inches from stock springs with 30" tires.

I can't believe how well it rides. The stock springs were flat and the shocks were absolutely shot.

We torqued the main spring eyes to 80lbs, and the shackles to 45lbs.

Anyone suggest differently?

:thumb: Looks great! How much longer are the shackles that you used? How much lift did they add. I'm looking at doing the same thing with my '93. Thanks!

Looks good...I have the same lift on my Rio Grande, but went with RE 1 inch over stock straight shackles in front and RE 1 inch over stock booms in the back. I had it that way for a year or 2 with 31x10.50x15s and loved it, till I sold my CJ5, then boosted the YJ up with 1 inch body lift and fit 33's and flat flares...doesn't rub and still rides smooth.

Those are same as stock. I almost ordered 1" shackles, but didnt want my 31s looking to small. :)

I need some center caps... Chrome or black?
