Before you go to the 22s you should take it offroad once see if you like it. I love driving around thinking I can go over that.

Regardless enjoy the Jeep however you choose.

shadowmonkey 12-22-2012 08:23 PM

yea i might just try it.

BIGTom 12-22-2012 08:36 PM

Irongrave 12-22-2012 08:53 PM

Lol, I didn't want to be the one to say it.

djwrangler 12-23-2012 08:13 PM

With a Jeep it's bigger tires, not rims. Lol.

But anyway, it's your Jeep. Enjoy it in your own way. Superchargers and wheel/tire combos aren't very hard to install. Most shops could do it for you.

How stout is the V6 in the JK? Can it handle the boost from a supercharger? It's not exactly a hi perf engine. Even 6 - 8 lbs of boost may cause problems.

Wat type of problem could it cause

Gjersey84 12-24-2012 05:04 PM

It's not going to have any problems. RIPP designs them speicifically for the JK and aren't going to manufacture something that is going to cause any problems.

Ight thanxs

Rayko 12-25-2012 04:05 AM

I don't know what year your JK is but if you have a warranty left, a supercharger will put an end to it.

I got a 2010 islander

Rayko 12-26-2012 07:04 AM

Still under warranty? If so, check with your dealer before having a supercharger put on. I'm 99% positive it'll void what's left of your warranty.

Ight ill check it out

Gary2 12-26-2012 08:11 PM

Ripps , they have plenty of experience with JKs

Rayko 12-27-2012 07:05 AM

It really doesn't make a diff about their experience, if they're not factory authorized your warranty goes out the window.

Gjersey84 12-28-2012 12:32 AM

It will not void or "throw out" your factory warranty. The only place you will have warranty issues is if the super charger has a direct impact on a part specifically and only then will you be denied warranty work. MTH has posted a plethora of times on "voiding" warranties and how it works.
