New Job? leaving Alabama?

Well it looks like I may be on my way back to Houston Tx. I had a company contact me about taking a position in the Houston Tx market. This company is flying me out to Kansas City on 8-25 for an interview. if all goes well, I will be moving back to Houston Tx from Alabama. hell I just moved to Alabama from Texas about 1.5 yrs ago to take a new position here. Money talks though, and I wanted to get back to TX anyway!! Wish me luck!!

Well, I guess I need to come to your house in Alabama and pick up the parts then.

Best of luck to you bud. But we can talk more about it in Harlan.

Hey, don't forget the front driveshaft.

It's not a definite yet, but I figure if they are spending the $$ to fly me out and back, then they are serious about it anyway.

thanks Taz & JJ!

x2, good luck.

I would love to live in a state like Texas too, but I couldn't deal with the heat. In Maryland, where I live anyway, it goes between 85-100+ degrees heat, with about 60-90% humidity. Obviously, the higher the temperature, the higher the humidity is too. Its only like that about 3 or 4 months out of the year, but I die of heat stroke each and every single day of those 3-4 months. I think I am more of a mountain person :D:blunt:

Always glad to help a fellow jeeper broaden his/her horizons.

Oh, and since we been talkin bout Georgia, I gots this message from muh cuzin:

I jes dunno about that whole story about Russia attackin' Georgia...Ah's been out on mah porch wif mah binoculars and mah shotgun fer mosta the mornin' and ah ain't seen the first tank or jet...ain't even heard no gunshots either, except from crazy uncle Earl shootin' possums under his trailer, but that ain't nothin' unusual... Ah even called up cousin Moe Lester, he lives over there close to Atlanta, and he ain't seen nor heard no russkies either. I think someone's just been pokin' fun at us, sayin' Georgia was gittin' attacked by Russia...I'll sit out here fer a couple more beers an' wait but ah's gonna git upset if nuthin' happens pretty soon... Ah done called in sick to Walmart all this week, thinkin' the Russians wuz comin'...
