Where the heck are the trails?

in the canton area looking for "legal" trails to ride, anybody have an idea? i already know of wellsville just tryna see if there are placing in the immediate area like 10-15 mins away...

I live in Massillon. Last night I made my own in several park areas and was airborne quite a bit but tons of fun!

Legal? you have southington offroad up north. And i think Dover Dirt Trails has a monthly shindig. Not sure. Then theres yankee lake in the summer. I've only ever been out to yankee though..

Also, high from canton also!

Unlimited13 03-24-2013 06:55 PM

Just looked at the website and Dover dirt trails is closed!

Spc there are a few 4 wheeler trails down in bolivor area if you just looking to get muddy. Not great ones by any means for a jeep but mud fun.

Unlimited13 03-25-2013 09:31 PM

Where are they in bolivar? Are they wide enough for jeep?

pater10 03-25-2013 09:59 PM

Not real sure if they are wide enough for a jeep. I know a lot of ppl run quads there. Its all state owned land. By the dam. I dont know road names but i hunt there during deer season

Feel lucky they are within an hour of you. The closest decent place from me (Cincinnati) is Slade, Kentucky. Which is about 2.5 hours away with no traffic.

You are only about an hour from Bigrock.

nothing wrong with tight spaces, i like it tight! lol btw has anyone checked out the area near akron/canton airport? there are mud holes and dirt bike/quad trails around there just wide enough to squeeze a 2 door into. caution though had a guy back there tell me he got swallowed up by a mudhole in a tj with 1 tons and 42's.....

pater10 03-28-2013 09:48 PM

Spc. Also from canton here. I'm going up to southington on the 6th of April. Just lifted my 07 Unlim x. I'll let you know how they are...

I see I now.... Do you know who owns it?...is it legal?

SPC Gates J 03-29-2013 12:17 AM

no idea, the guys i saw back there last year said they go there all the time with no issues, they even had a bonfire back there and have never seen cops.

x415fsx 04-01-2013 10:03 AM

I've been back in there. i got swallowed up in one hole pretty good.

They started dumping piles in front of the trail entrances. I took that as a sign to find other places to play. It was ok back there, couple little hills that you could get in trouble on if you didn't scout them first.

I've actually found more places down in around canton/E canton to play in honestly. Theres a lot of little four wheeler trails to mess around on.
