Elbe Hills 1/13

Headed up to Elbe on Sunday Jan 13th. Already have a few other people coming. Will prob meet somewhere in Graham, and arrive there by 10. Going to have some fun in the snow! Who is in?

banks316 12-25-2012 03:02 AM

I might be up for that. Where's gram? North or south of Elbe?

nwbronco 12-25-2012 12:24 PM

Graham is north and west of Elbe.

banks316 12-25-2012 12:30 PM

Might just have to meet you all outside the campground.

TripleNickle 12-25-2012 12:35 PM

That works. Most of us are coming from the same direction.

banks316 12-25-2012 12:41 PM

I'm down south. What time you think you guys will be at the campground area?

TripleNickle 12-25-2012 02:40 PM

Planning on ten.

banks316 12-25-2012 03:26 PM

Sweet ill be there

TripleNickle 12-26-2012 01:50 PM

Sounds Good! See ya there!

Drix 01-01-2013 11:20 PM

Totally down I am
Just around the corner from Elbe. FYI that gas station at Safeway is the best price to fill up before you head out.

Drix 01-01-2013 11:21 PM

Banks graham is almost to my house by about 10 mins.

That helps not at all. Ill just meet you guys up there the 13th

Elble is on the southwest end of Mt Rainer. From the south hwy 12 to 7 is the shortest. But not the quickest. We are in Olympia and it shows 510 to Yelm as the shortest. Again not the quickest. If we go, we'll go I-5 to Hwy 507 to Hwy 7.

If we take that route, we pass through Spanaway and Graham to get to Elbe.

Looks like we have about 6 guys going so far then. Me, banks316, Drix, Shawn3r, and a couple guys with sami's. Hopefully you come out Bob.

banks316 01-02-2013 02:49 PM

hope my little 37's are enough

TripleNickle 01-02-2013 03:04 PM

LOL Me too!

nwbronco 01-02-2013 06:28 PM

We are green light as of right now. I need to figure out my pulley squeal. Hopefully in the next day or two...

If your heading from Olympia just following that route your making a larger loop then you need to.

Isnt that the same issue your friend had at Tahuya? Common issue isnt it?

nwbronco 01-03-2013 09:23 AM

The idler pulleys don't hold up very well to the water assault.

blackknight23 01-03-2013 09:28 PM

Theres not much water except on gotcha its all snow watch the bridges they where crowned with ice last weekend

TripleNickle 01-03-2013 09:54 PM
