Recommendation Needed: Lift Installer Ft. Myers/Sarasota area

I am close to buying a used 2009 JK Unlimited and plan on lifting and installing bigger tires. I am looking for a reputable shop that can do my install. Any advice/referrals appreciated.

Although I decided to do my own lift, I liked the guys at D & R or DNR on 9th in sarasota. Also, Deisel off Tamiami was recommended. Good luck...

I have to brag on a customs shop I found in Sarasota, FL. It's called Suncoast Customs on 12th St. Here is their web site: SunCoast Customs - Suncoast Customs
I stumbled upon them when I was looking at the NEW Toyo Open Country AT/IIs on the Toyo website. I did a search of local Toyo Tire dealers and these guys popped up. I decided to give them a call and was quite impressed with their knowledge over the phone. They highly recommended the AT/IIs and quickly had 5 overnighted from a Tampa warehouse to their shop for a next day install. They even matched the price of tread depot dot com. I discussed lift kit options with them on the phone and in even more detail the next day when I went to have my aftermarket wheels and new Toyo tires installed. I saw some of their work and their shop and I would highly recommend these guys to anyone wanting to do aftermarket wheels (great sample selection of many popular wheels such as Fuel, XD, Ultra hanging on their showroom wall), tires, and lifts. They are a dealer for Rough Country and Zone but can get any manufacturer's product you want and do the install at a good price. The owner's name is Steve and one of his sales guys name is Ryan. Both are easily approachable and knowlegeable about off-road products. The mechanic that did my tire and wheel install took care of my brand new Jeep like it was his own unlike when I've had work done at Tire Kingdom and they scratched up my brand new take-off wheels as well as my new aftermarket wheels and then wouldn't take responsibility for the scratches. I will definitely be going back here for my lift install when I am ready.

I agree. Their shop and staff were awesome when I was in the market for my lift. I decided to upgrade with the savings from doing it myself. It actually was very easy to accomplish. I had the corporat Goodyear store off Cattleman dr in Sarasota do my tires and allignment. Dakota was spot on and their price couldn't have been better. 315/70/17's installed for $278/tire. Enjoy your jeep!!
