$500 to spend on a SYE

i need to get the whole system. a SYE and an extended driveshaft. is this enough money to spend on this and if so what would u suggest to me to purchase! i put a 4 inch lift on it in the spring and the TC drop just isn't cutting it anymore. it constantly pops out of gear and reverse is all but impossible to shift into without the magic touch :bang head: . help me please

That is right in range for a good SYE and drive shaft. Tom Wood and Teraflex are pretty popular.

Did you add shift link drop bracket? That could possibly save you $450.... OR.... do it the right way and do the sye/ds.

check out 4x4groupbuy.com

They have a few awesome deals (with Tom Woods driveshafts) under $500. Teraflex and Advanced Adapters. Spend the extra $40 and have them upgrade to the XB shaft.

I got mine through Advance Adapters.com, great customer service and the sye is 199.00. If you want it with a Tom Woods D/S it is 499.00.

X4 on buying it from Tom Wood who will give you unsurpassed pre and post sales support.

X2. Install the SYE and order the driveshaft from Tattons to fit your exact measurements. This will cost you under $500 shipped.

Don't forget the adjustable rear upper control arms (that will probably put you over budget if you don't already have them)....In the meantime if you pull up your shift boot and get rid of the foam tube around your shift lever underneath, your staying in gear problems might go away....mine did.

Good call. I actually need adjustable uppers and lowers to correctly set my pinion, which cost an extra $600.

And a different track bar bracket , One that is angled . An adjustable rear track bar , A set of Savvy uppers alone should be long enough to get the pinion up to where you need it, get the lowers when money tree grows back. Funny how projects grow before they are finished , if ever.

Tom woods had a combo on his site for around 375 when I was looking. I went for the super duty kit when it was on sale. But I vote for tom woods
