2013 Rubicon - New Tires??
I just got a 2013 4 door Rubicon, I hate the look of the stock tires. Not so much from the side but from the front and rear it looks weak. The tires are too narrow. Unfortunately this is a daily driver for now, so I really don't want to lift it yet. Eventually 35's are inevitable but I really don't want to put them on yet and lift it.
So without lifting it, has anyone put on a set of 32 x12.5's??

I felt same way, just changed my wheels with more offset now like the looks .

I thought I'd be OK with the stock Rubi look for a while, but that lasted less than 2 months! ;) I agree that the 32x10s just look puny on that rig. As you'll see in MTH's link, you can fit 33x12.50s without lifting: plenty of folks on this site have done so. You'll just have to get wheels with the right amount of backspacing (or get wheel spacers to go with your stockers) and trim the plastic front air dam a little to avoid rubbing; that's it.

Good luck!

That's the thing tho...I really dont want it to rub. I have all white everything...fenders and hardtop. I don't want to F' up the fenders.....again. Just spent $450 on a new fender due to a tree that was bent over slammin back up into it and cracked the shit out of it. I do like the new Rubicon wheels but I want all black AEV Savegre wheels. I don't really know what to do... I know i'll have to put spacers on but thats not a big deal i guess..

You won't have to worry about rubbing against your fenders: the front airdam is that big piece of black plastic underneath your front fender, pointing rearward; believe it's only function is to slightly improve aerodynamics. You'll just have to cut off a piece of about 4"x5" on each side to keep the tires from rubbing at full lock. My 315s were rubbing (but only in reverse) even after a 2.5" lift install, but some quick "plastic surgery" took care of that problem. My tires aren't anywhere close to rubbing the fenders.

I also considered just getting Spidertrax spacers and saving the money over buying new wheels. At the end of the day, however, I splurged and got the wheels I really wanted (Rugged Ridge 17"x9", flat black w/machined lip). I haven't put much effort into it yet, but I think it'll be pretty easy to sell the stock Rubi wheels & tires to somewhat offset the cost.

Anyway, let us know what you end up with!

Thanks for the advice. I'll let you know what I end up with.
