Bump stops?

I am thinking about getting a Teraflex Leveling Kit, and then putting on 33's. If I do, will I need to also get like 1" bump stops? Especially when flexing.

Hello? Is anybody there?

You shouldn't need extended bump stops with that setup. To be sure, remove the coil springs and compress the suspension as far as it will go until the stock bump stop fully compresses against the spring perch. If your shock doesn't bottom out first or your tire doesn't rub up against the fenders when fully compressed, you are good to go. If they do, measure how much more bump stop you will need to keep from bottoming out.

So the shock stops it? Then why does the Budget Boost kit come with 2" bump stop extenders?

Nope. The bump stop stops it, hence the name. If the shock stops it (bottoms out) it will be damaged in short order. The bump stops limit upward travel to prevent damage to the shock and or fender.:thumb:
