No I'm not dead

Just haven't been online in 46 years. Sorry guys been really busy and haven't had the time to get on here 6 hours a night, but I'm alive and well. Just been real sick the last couple weeks.

RIPBiker13 08-25-2008 09:31 PM

IDK what I've been sick with. A terrible strain of the Flu or something. And really I never left, and to Stupid Scout's disappointment didn't die. :flipoff:

distortedtj 08-25-2008 09:38 PM

It's getting better, but I still have very limited range of motion in it. I can walk without a limp, but I can't even take 2 jogging steps. Been swimming alot (comes natural, even if it wasn't the perfect workout), and walking a ton on the treadmill, but the recovery isn't as speedy as I was hoping. I haven't fired a government long gun in a minute, luckily I have my own to keep the skills sharp. Other than that, things are good. Good to have you back on the forum.

I figured the recovery would be slow but I thought you'd be better by now. I'm glad at least you ARE recovering. Glad to be back.

I hear ya dude. I got some crazy nasty version of an upper respiratory infection. Coughing up a lung, plus yellow lung parts, 102* fever, throat hurts so bad I can hardly drink water. One minute I will be so hot I cannot stop sweating, the next I will wake up from a dead sleep so cold that I can't some shaking/convulsing and there are times I cannot breathe I am shaking so bad. Luckily some Advil takes care of that real quick and in a hurry :(

Who gets sick in summer... this is some BS. I want a refund.

Glade to hear your feeling better biker dude. Go take your bike out and play for me, this is killing me :(

Cave, that's awesome your recovering dude. Keep up the hard work and you'll be back in it in no time. Looks like you got some job security with the ruskies anyway.

Since you've got her apart, are you going to widen the swinger for some meat back in the rear? Rake looks good, it should be able to cruise down the road with NO input on the bars, and I like the neck gusset. Lookin' good!!!

Sounds like bronchitus.... Are you taking any antibiotics?

I got bronchitus from removing an old rug in my house. Liek a dumb ass, I did not use a respirator. I was off my feet for 3 weeks....same symptoms.

JCS05Rubi 08-27-2008 08:05 AM

5 days worth of Zpac (Arithmatycin or something) and some cough syrup with codine. Chest xrays were negative and step was negative

MOz 08-27-2008 11:15 AM

A clear x-ray is very good news, means no pneumonia. Don't understand why they gave you a strep test unless you had a soar throat. Strep throat will not give you a respiratory infection.

At least they have you on anitbiotics. When the phylem color changes from green to yellow and tastes sweet, you know you're on the good road.

Good luck.

RIPBiker13 09-01-2008 02:57 AM

Idk what I had but I'm feeling better now, thank goodness!

No cavediver, not doing the swingarm or going bigger i the rear. At least not yet.
