I feel sad for an old blue CJ

Greetings you all from one of the JK-ers here. Every day on my way to work I drive by an auto salvage yard. The yard is next to some train tracks, and I drive over a bridge that goes over the tracks, so I get a good look down into the yard.

Yesterday sitting close by the car smasher was an old light blue CJ. It had no soft top on it or the doors - just sitting there filled up with snow here in Cleveland. I felt sort of sad for it, just sitting there, knowing that a classic is going to be lost.

I assume that the next couple days it'll be smashed into a cube then sent off to the steel mill to be recycled.

If anybody wants to rescue it, the salvage yard is:

Bedford Auto Wrecking, Inc., 7270 Division Street, Bedford, OH 44146
(440) 232-6474

You're probably right! I wonder if there are any old recycled Jeeps in my JK.
