Flat fender question

Would flat fenders do anything at all keep the crap off the side of my Jeep ? All the ones Ive seen dont have any real flare that would do anything. Also what does everyone do to the rear to match the front after installing flat fenders?

are you talking about flares or fenders? fenders are part of the steel body, flares are plastic and flexible.

Probably not, especially with wider tires. If you don't want your jeep getting mud or anything all over its side get flares that are wider than stock, like flat or pocket ones. I have the bushwacher flat flares with 11.5" wide tires and nothing gets on my side of the jeep

The metal aftermarket fenders are made for more clearance. Not to stop dirt from hitting your jeep

I think the only thing that would help is the mud flaps that hang down lol. and those look stupid and would get ripped off real quick!
