Fill plug for automatic transmission?

Where is the fill plug in a Jeep wrangler Tj automatic transmission? I looked everywhere and only find info for standards.

It's typically known as the dipstick tube.

Thanks guys. I want to add a breather hose on the tranny. Do I need to take the whole tranny out? If so how hard is it to take out?

bostiguy 01-09-2013 10:02 PM

Your transmission is probably congested from this red stuff that's in it. If you just drill a couple of 1/2" holes in the pan, you will relieve the congestion and let some air in so your transmission can breathe freely.

Be sure to check your muffler bearing too. If it goes out, it's a b**ch to replace!

Pfft. just spray some febreeze in there before you fill them.
Helps keep your tires smelling new, AND postpones the dreaded "stale-air ride quality" :whistling:

Does anyone know where I can get light bulb filament replacements? I want to change them before they burn out and I'm stuck in the dark.
