What would you name a Jeep Model?

Seems lately that I have been seeking out things that are representative of the character and quality of America. I am appreciating MADE in AMerican a lot more than I used to.

I have always been fascinated with the American West, The Mountains, the Bison, Yellowstone. It got me thinking.

Jeep has all these model names and limited editions. If you could what Model or limited edition jeep would you name to reflect the spirit of the american west?

Would you use a geographic location or a historical name?

I would name it a "Rubicon" edition..... Oh wait... :D But in all seriousness, I'm not sure what I would name a special edition if I could, my favorite special editions have been the Mountain Edition, the Mojave, and the Moab; so something along those lines I guess. Maybe a Black Bear edition for Black Bear Pass, Colorado.

I dont know about you guys, but i kinda like a "Area 51" edition. The last time i was in Nevada, they had a ton of off road adventure areas there and the area around Area 51 is full of mountains. It could be an all black stealth jeep with some green accents, to resemble the planes and alies they keep there. (yes i beilive theres aliens).

jp2611 01-13-2013 03:35 PM

Okay not following the rules but for me..."4 for Fun"...trading on the 4 seats and 4wd off road fun for a family that I feel with any Jeep..... granted if you need the JKU it is there...seems like they miss the FUN driver's/ family vehicles these are. Rarely do I see that aspect shown.

National Parks edition? Some proceeds go to the Parks system? About the only thing I'd like to give money to the government for. :)

There are a lot of ideas and names you could use...Grizzly Edition, Backpacker Edition, Sequoia, etc. The list goes on.

WXman 01-13-2013 04:26 PM

I'd call the hardtop models the Sieve Edition.

jagerhelix 01-13-2013 04:41 PM

"crawler" edition. Manual locks, windows, soft top, d60s, no carpet.

ed98208 01-13-2013 04:43 PM

Just thinking of Washington state references...Rainier, Cascade, Sasquatch, Lahar. Maybe a mall-crawler for the Microsoft-types could be called the Redmond Edition. :p

the chrysler marketing team is going to love this thread

pwecr 01-13-2013 07:39 PM

How about a baja edition. Or a black hills edition. The national parks is a great idea. When you go to the parks you can get a coin from each one. Have a place in each jeep to display each coin.

Sasquatchewan 01-13-2013 07:56 PM

Moabite said it on another post "Mall of Duty" edition MOD

AvoidControversy 01-13-2013 07:56 PM

Stole that from the other thread!
