Sweet communication! Looking forward to meeting everyone.

We will have a trainer onsite (wink wink nudge nudge) to go over Fire protection after the meeting and possibly someone to share some info about Tread Lightly...

Im really new to this, will this meeting spot be a spot that this group always meets at? Ive never attended any jeep meeting before so forgive me if i got this wrong. Is there a constant schedule where we have to always meet at? This club meeting is about 1 1/2 from me, and i would love to go and attend all the trips you guys go on and it sounds like a blast.

Yes we meet a lot of the time there but we meet all over too

yeah^ and yeah^ lol...

The quarterly meetings will most likely be at the same place here in Mayville. And no, your not required to attend but it is encouraged to make at least 1 out of 4 yearly meetings. If you sign up at the club site we can add you to our email list. Then, after the meeting you'll get a copy of the minutes to review.

For where your at, we need to put you in touch with some friends at Offroad Jeepers. They are closer to Romeo. We attend a lot of events together but the gen. club meetings would be a little closer for you.

These meetings are the formal member ones. We have to hold 4 a year, have minutes, have by-laws, elect officers and plan events in order to remain a legit club. Thats the small part of it all... the big part is all the time we spend out on trails, in the snow, mud events, blessings, clean ups, etc... Thats where the brotherhood really takes place. ;)

Thank you, im searching them up right now. It would forsure make it easier for the closer meeting spots!

Starting the countdown! Less than a week 'till the meeting. I know, I know... its not all fun and games like the trails lol. But, it will be nice to see everyone and turn our little ghost town into a jeep show Sunday lol.

We have some shirts now to that will be for sale, $10 each to help support the club. We have M, L and XL. Dark Brown with ThumbJeeps and a CJ Grill on the front and lower back, then the back in larger letters says (in tire track font) ROADS ARE BORING!

I live in the "thumb" of Michigan, do you have any meetings in the Thumb ? I call Mayville the palm of the mitten state. Yes I live 15 minutes south from Port Austin "the real thumb of Michigan"

That's cool, I'm new to the Jeep scene but not to the 4 wheel drive world, back in the day (close to 30 years ago) I did it all, mud bogs, truck pulls & even the silver lake scene (when you could go in any direction you wanted, including lake Michigan :D ) yes my truck with 18-44 ground hawgs almost floated away as the waves were pulling me out to sea !

But that was 25 years ago when I was young & dumb, I'm all grown up now :whistling:
