What are some good, easy trails to check out in North Idaho?

Or any trails for that matter, level of difficulty doesn't matter! ;)

HEY! looks like you found the site....Up behind Hayden lake there is some great trails...probably well snowed in at this point. Also there is a fun area up Chilco. To get there go North on 95, take a left on Chilco rd, go west on the road for a few miles and there is a open area with Power lines to the right...in fact, i think they call powerline road....here is a screenshot map..

I did! I like this site, it's a little more geared toward Wranglers. Have you been up around the Hayden Creek area by the shooting range, Dave?

I'll have to check the Chilco area out. Looks like fun! Thanks for the ideas!

lol actually ironically its Dan not Dave :) I have been up all around the shooting area above Hayden. Great trails...in fact you can go up behind the range and end up down Fernan village, or as I found out one day, on top of 4th of July pass...that 1.5 hour drive ended up being about 4 hours!

I will pm you if we decide to go on a run...most of it in the area is fine for stockers and DD's...

Hey crew, I've been up behind Hayden a few times. There is an airfield at the top that's pretty fun to mud around in. Some spots are just wet holes and a few times I've found some good mud but didn't wanna test t out as I was up there solo :/

Hey guys. The Hayden Creek area is now heavily policed and you can get a minimum of a $1000 fine if you are in the woods off the logging runs or behind the ranges. I know from experience :pcwhack::atomic:
