Brake leak

Anyone ever fix a brake leak. Mine is leaking from rear. Just curious if I would need to pull whole rear drum apart? Any words of advice would help. Thanks

I am not an expert in such things, but do you know where the leak is coming from? is it a line fitting or a component like the drum/reservoir..etc

that would be the first thing I would do... hope that helps, I usually do the brake maintenance on my vehicles...:include:

So, it probably b best that I take tire off an look. It's coming from the drum

Yes, it will be best.

If its coming from the drum, more than likely its the brake reservoir. They are simple to replace, if you know how to do manual brakes that's is.

Well, got the leak fixed. It was the compressor. Now gotta replace the shoes.

Scottus 01-28-2013 03:58 PM

Nice, how hard was that to fix?

BlakeDuke123 01-28-2013 07:02 PM

Had to bang the drum off. An the springs were a little tough. But other than that wasn't too bad. But now I know I gotta replace the shoes. Lol
