I have p235/75r15 tires on my jeep but this winter I want to throw on some studs, I have a tight budget, I'm looking around the area for one's that are only a season old, anyways, anyone think that it'll make a difference if I went with a diff size like 205/75?
If you are in NE - PA you are welcome to a slightly used set of Good Year Wrangler GSA tires I have .... They have less than 10k Miles on them - $100 for the set.
I don't think you can stud used tires. As for 205, 215's and 225's they will all work though I think the 205's are kind of small. Studded tires work great, almost as well as chains. I drove studded in Ct when I was stationed there and they for sure got me around on some of those nor'easters.
even better have them siped,
we tried running studs on our dumptrucks winter before last, weve since pulled ALL the studs and went back to sipeing
