Another Awesome Build by JPI!

35-12.50 Goodyear MTRs, PSC rock rails, 1.5' Body lift, 3.5 Rock Krawler suspension lift and a Tom Woods Custom drive shaft. Drove home like a champ, could hardly tell the difference on the road, looks great. Thanks again Stan! :punk:

Stan builds great stuff!

Gunner 01-23-2013 08:13 PM

There is a great team there. Got to see yours the other day when we were there. Sweet Jeep. So what's next?

JeepHerz 01-23-2013 08:51 PM

Congrats! Looks great and more importantly should be awesome on the trail.
So why Tom Woods and not Adams? Stan mention any specifics on the Woods vs. others? Thinking of using Adams. I probably don't need to replace them to begin with- I just have the bad angles due to lift height on 2012 2 door. Thinking Adams is cheaper and still better than stock. Pluke was running Adams. I do like the sticker however....

I was running an Adams Driveshaft after my SYE. It compressed all the way and I am unable to get it to expand again. I am thinking I will bring it to the Meet n Greet and hook it between tow Jeeps and see if that will pull it apart. Not sure if that is a statement of quality or not, just my experience.

Honestly Stan said this is the best one and we said ohkay! So no idea the difference between the two.

Baja1ab 01-23-2013 09:50 PM

Looks good... too good. Needs some scratches. :D

Gunner 01-23-2013 10:09 PM

Thanks Doug, I'm real happy with the outcome of your project, one of my goals when doing a build is having the jeep drive as good or better than stock on the highway. Thanks again, now get it dirty!

WOKNROX 01-24-2013 09:20 AM

For me there's only one man that'll build my drive lines!
That's Johnny D's in Victor Ville!

Looks great yet I am curious if you did other mods to run those 35's like axles, gearing, etc. or if you have already done those.

I believe those mods Are on the next phase of his build.

Slo Mo 01-24-2013 09:48 AM

Nice build. I hope to get mine done soon by JPI

JPi4.0 01-24-2013 10:18 AM

It is always exciting to see these builds come together.
Thanks to all for your business and kind words.

I H8RDS 01-24-2013 10:28 AM

I'll be seeing you guys to put in my Atlas tc by early summer :D

Lorie :wavey:

Gunner 01-24-2013 12:30 PM

It's a never ending story. Everytime I think I can see the end I find more stuff I want. This is worse than my boat. Gotta sell the boat to pay for more jeep stuff. These guys did my gears and axles and 3000 miles later they are whisper quiet.

DaK 01-24-2013 02:42 PM

Cool, see ya on the next Calico run. Probably be the early part of Feb.

Lab Lover 01-24-2013 02:45 PM

I have to go to a business conference in Palm Dessert tomorrow thru Wed. The only part I'm looking forward to is going by Stan's shop on my way home to pick up diff. covers.

I'm excited to see the shop and meet Stan :thumb:

What gearing ratio are you going to have put in your atlas?

I H8RDS 01-24-2013 04:06 PM

I was thinking 4.1

All that money for an atlas...why not just go as low as possible :thumb: 5:1 I think it is...unless you are going all out with a 4spd ;)

I H8RDS 01-24-2013 04:27 PM

My jeep is a DD. Do you think I'd need it? I won't be doing the hammers in her..

I H8RDS 01-24-2013 04:28 PM

And I choose Atlas b/c it's the best.. have heard too many negative things about TeraLo
