:facepalm:Yeah these stupid jobs kinda play a factor in this Rick. Lol. Hey Vic roll out Saturday with us to ocotillo

suicideking 01-24-2013 12:34 AM

Yeah, I figured it might be a challenge to get a run going on a Monday.

Cleghorn is probably the one place I could go by myself. Don't make me do it!! :D

Btw, congrats Jeff! I asked my wife if she would've gotten married in Calico and she looked at me like I'm crazy...

That sounds like a fun weekend! Maybe you'll work so hard you won't be feeling well enough to go to work on Monday!

I maybe able to join you depending on the rain. I need to put in some surf time but if it rains I'll be up for wheeling.

You surf in the winter? That's dedication!

Let me know if you can make it. I have one other 'maybe' from Jeepforum so far.

This is on! Got one guy in and a strong maybe.

Lets make it 10:00 off the Cleghorn exit at the staging area on the right. A guy from another forum is coming from the San Fernando valley.

Hope you can make it too Gary.

I'd go if it wasn't nearly 3 hours from my pad..only thing about living on the beach :D...only close place around here is HV..and Miller when she's open. Actually with all this rain, I'd probably pass on this one though. Don't like the mud. You guys have an awesome time Rick! :punk:

Yeah I hear ya. That's why I like cleghorn. Less than 30 min away, costs $20 for the whole day.

Nice to live by the beach though. Love the beach.

Tomorrow's Weather Forecast for Silverwood Lake - weather.com

Yeah, that's pretty much what I found. Figure it will be colder at the top, so bring warm clothes. Since it says sunny, should be nice up there.

The third guy from JK forum also drives a black JKU Rubi. So we can call this the black Monday run. ha ha

Had good fun today Rick. Snow, mud, standing water, it can't get any better than that. Thanks Rick for setting this up.

Yeah, that was fun! All the mud and slush from the melting snow made cleghorn a challenge! I never thought a cleghorn run would require a locker, lift, and 35" MT tires.

The stock rubi couldn't make it without the ground clearance and tires probably too small. The TJ couldn't make it because no MT tires and no front locker. I think all the TJ would've needed would be some MT's to get through all the slop. His AT tires just weren't getting any traction. Definitely made it an interesting day.

Agree. We flew through the second half with just the two of us though. That was fun and I got to try out my new skid to boot, and climb a snowy muddy hill while towing a TJ. Darn good day.

4.5 hours of clean-up today and the rig is ready to go again. All part of the fun.
