There are a few side climbs on the hills just as you go out to the mud. Nothing really hard but fun and off camber. Might be really interesting if wet.

Funny you mention that, one of those seemingly innocent side climbs had me puckered up last time I was there and it was a little wet. Made me wish I'd gone with a 3.5" lift and not the 4.5" cause it felt like we were just about to tip over. But, when you look at it straight on, it looks like nothing. I've done much worse looking off camber stuff and it never quite felt as bad as that one. Sometimes the little stuff makes the best adventures.

Last time I was in Azusa was my sophomore year in High School (1989). I took a girlfriends Suzuki Samari wheeling. Well... I wouldn't really call it wheeling but did have a good time jumping it. Amazing how 12 inch little bump would send it a good 2 to 3 feet in air.I was pinned in 3rd which if I recall was about 25mph. LOL

I am still dealing with mud from last weekends Ocotillo run so I will do my best to avoid any mud in the future. Thanks for posting Chuy it brought back some good memories.

Chuy562 01-31-2013 09:45 AM

So who's in for feb 17?

That mud in Ocotillo is the worst! Get it off as fast as you can. Even then, it will still stain your stuff...

minisaba 01-31-2013 09:56 PM

That's one of the reasons I don't like mud, my jeep might not be new but I care how it looks.

Chuy, I will go with you some other time preferably on a sunday. That weekend I will be in the cougar buttes run.
