reasonably priced garage at Rochester area

Hi,
Iīm looking for a reasonably priced garage in the Rochester area.
I ordered a Rubicon 10th anni and want to have a AEV Suspension Kit installed.
Iīm not sure if the dealership is the best address.

THANKS

Christian

Not sure where I would go for a suspension install in Rochester. Most of the fair priced places that I know of would probably NOT take on this sort of install due to the possible problems associated with it.

Might want to post on the Fingerlakes 4x4 site. I have heard there is a member there that has a garage that may be able to do this.

Hope this helps

what do you want to say?
You wouldnīt recommend this suspension kit?
Iīm looking at that one
JK DualSport RS Suspension 3.5"/4.5" - Suspension - Shop By Category
not good?
which kind of problems are you talking about?

what is your tire goal. 3.5-4.5 is a lot of lift on a JK

Iīm planing the 3.5" lift and the goal is to go with 35" tires and having the option to mount 37" wheels (maybe later)

Trying to put words in my mouth? I said nothing bad about anything other than the lack of known shops in the Rochester Area. I work in Auto Parts locally and have many Commercial accounts. While I think some of these accounts could do work like this, they are not set up to do so or are Jeep centric enough to understand the problems with a lift for a Jeep.

Myself, AEV make some very well engineered products and would be my go to company to buy from. I've talked with Jason of Krawl Off-Road and we've been looking at the 2.5 AEV kit if I elect to go that route.

I am no rock crawler, and know how capable my 12 JK Sport is stock. It's under tired to be sure, but on our property in the southern tier, goes places I thought it wouldn't because of same said tires. Of course your Rubicon out of the box will be quite capable, even more so than my Sport.

Good Luck to you. Maybe your dealership could help you find a shop that could help?

Just a thought...There is one place down in Canadaigua NY that may be able to help. I think it is call Off Road Performance. They are on RT 332 heading into the City.

sorry, my mistake!
I just understood it wrong, you mentioned the capability of a workshop to do the job as such. Not the kind of suspension kit.
Iīll check if I find the shop you are talking about in Canandigua that is not too far away from my home. Thanks for that hint.
For me itīs not the point to improove the capability of the car thatīIīm sure is more than enough. Itīs only a issue of appearance ;-)
Thanks for your help.

No problem! It's ALL Good!

Yours could be a very interesting Jeep when it is done. Would love to see it when it's done. I've been drooling over some of the pics I've seen on Jeep.com of these new JK's. I've run the figures and can't swing it. Would have to get rid of a few other play toys to do it.

On lifts and such, I am limited due to medical conditions of my wife for what I can do to mine.

as an update:
Got my car a 2 weeks ago. The dealership was not able to mount the winch I purchased (Warn Zeon 10-S). "It does not fit." So their statement. "Too less space at the 10a Bumper."
A smaller workshop in Batavia, where I work, did the install of the AEV suspension kit, they also where able to install the winch. Some minor creativity was necessary. A shame that the dealership couldnīt install it.
Thumbs up for "east coast tire auto" in Batavia. Also the price was reasonable.
They did also the mounting of the 35s incl programming of tire size with the procal. So speedometer works correct.
