Ron Wachter at The Transmission Man in Valencia is where I'd go. He's a Jeeper and on the forums.

The guys from Rebel use a team that can get both your axles done in less than 3 hrs. Have seen them do it. All work is garuanteed. Call 'em.

I have read a lot of good reviews about JPI. I am thinking about going down there. I wonder if they could do it while I wait. Long drive for 2 trips.

Talk to Stan. I waited the whole day for work there before. If he says yeah he will make sure it is done on time. He did my gears but I had a bunch of other things done too that time so it was a two day deal. But they are worth the wait. My wife followed me one time and we spent the night in Oak Glen which is right there by their shop. Geri shopped all day and I ate.

You can always give Higher Ground Fab & Off-Road a call. They are on Sierra Hwy down underneath where the 5 and 14 fwys are. Not sure if I can post their info. You can message me and I can hook you up. ;-)

I'm sure it would be OK to PM him info.

Forgot about them. I've seen their jeep driving around and on a trail. I may have to keep them in mind for jeep stuff as well. ;-)

Good to know, never heard of them and am right up the road. Wish we had a good shop up here in the AV... Driving to Lake Forest is getting old.

Thanks all, for the responses. Didn't know there were a few shops so close. Good to know. I think I will be headed down to JPI though.

If you don't know already be sure to discuss the proper break-in procedures with them.
