What area are you located in? There are normally weekly runs set up here, at least in the Southern California area.

Oh, and welcome to the forum.

Jeff

Cleghorn, join us.

Gunner 02-08-2013 11:44 PM

Yeah ya gotta tell us where your at.

DaK 02-09-2013 08:34 AM

Yeah that makes it tough not knowing where you are.

Doing a Piute Snow run tomorrow. Nothing but fire roads but... be playing in the snow and hopefully slinging a bit of mud along with it.

Honda Valley is located north of SilverWood lake and south of Hesperia ...but considered part of Hesperia ...Marble canyon is a run on nothing but rocks much like the rock garden on Holcomb creek ...I doubt u'll find much on the web about this trail....it's a little known place by the locals.

Thanks... have to hitch along on the Honda valley sometime. Marble canyon is one I will have to view before running. Like Holcomb myself.

Yeah we'll set something up here sometime ...
For Marble Canyon.. 33s, one locker and a strap...will get u through ...
Think u can draw and interest in this run?

DaK 02-09-2013 04:39 PM

Might could.

A stock rubi should have no problems, maybe a tug at one point?

Could set something up for the 23rd or 24th.

Yeah I think so...maybe some ground clearance issue but?
I haven't run this trail in at least 6 months so I'll check it out tomorrow and get back with u on the conditions ..k

We would love to join.
We are thinking of calico but just playing by ear
Where is cleghorn

Idriveoverstuff 02-10-2013 06:06 AM

I have an 09 jk 3.5 rubicon express lift on 33s lockers etc

Idriveoverstuff 02-10-2013 06:15 AM

Cleghorn pretty crazy?

DaK 02-10-2013 07:10 AM

The good thing about cleghorn is you can make it wat you want. For the most part this is a fire road with many off shoots for more challenges. Only one major obstacle and that is tip/roll over hill. Whoever takes you and if they go on this obstacle should spot you through it the first time, after that, you will have it good enough to not need the spot.

minisaba 02-10-2013 09:08 AM

I personally wouldn't do that hill with snow.

Idriveoverstuff 02-10-2013 09:42 AM

Awesome I got a little worried looking at pictures on google when half of them roll overs. Had one scare in octo at the 4wp poker run and that was enough for me haha. Thanks again guys for all the help I'm excited! Gonna try and make it out this morning. Gonna move the winch from the Cherokee to the jk real fast and get packed up and on the road. Have a great day
