Johnny Joints vs. Duroflex Joints

I just came across the Duroflex Joints from Metalcloak tonight, I have never heard anyone mention them before. Im currently saving up to get the Currie 4" lift. But i saw these Duroflex control arms, and it kinda made me think a little bit. Is anyone running these? How do the bushings hold up against the elements, as in has any cracking or drying out occurred like regular rubber bushings? How often is maintenance done on the joints, as in how often do you take them apart clean/re-grease them?

From what i have read about them, Metalcloak is claiming their the best joints on the market right now. Can anyone confirm this?

47 Pages of talk about them. I have a full set on the way right now. I watched the MC videos over and over when I was trying to decide between the Duroflfex and Currie arms..but I just decided to go with the Duroflexs to see how they do...and MC gave me a military discount.

I'm just starting my testing of the Duroflex bushings and will have a review up in the near future.

I replaced 14 JJs with Duroflex joints late last summer. I did that because of highway ride quality alone . Neither require any mainatinance to speak of , both are great joints off-road but for my needs the smoother riding Duroflex joints gave me the highway ride I was missing with no adverse effects at all. If you spend a lot of time on the road I would recommend the Duroflex . I also seem to be the only person who seems to think 14 JJs alone made my jeep ride stiffer or maybe the only one to admit it . I like both brands and the people from each , nothing personal at all.

I only have JJ's on my lowers as of yet, but I didn't realize ANY increase in NVH on the road. Honestly, I was a bit surprised.

Are you running them on your revamped rig in place of the JJs?

When I just had lowers I really was still quite happy with the JJs . It was when I installed the uppers that I really noticed it was not what I wanted . I had not known about the Duroflex at that time so I reinstalled my OE upper fronts and lower rears. I switched to a CV driveshaft at the time I installed the upper rears so they stayed on back then.

Any word on these yet? I need to order some adjustable arms and these look like a good choice for my DD.
