JK for Profit

I've recently ordered a 10th Anniversary Rubicon Unlimited. Considering I'll be waiting for a while, I pass the time on this forum.and think of things I can do to my new jeep.

One idea I've had, after seeing a few wranglers around town like this, was getting a plow for the winter time. I figure I can use it on my driveway and maybe make a couple bucks off it. Which got me thinking; are the any other ways to use my new Jeep to make a couple bucks on the side?

Maybe you people have a few ideas on how to make a few dollars with a wrangler.

having plowed lots of roads as a part time job in the winter in montana and alaska i can say this now. dont put a plow on your jeep. if you want to do that find an old beater and put one on it. the plow will tear your jeep to hell. and void your warranty. im actually pretty sure it specifically states that your warranty is voided with a plow.

Thanks for the input, I'm gonna definitely look into this more now before I do anything. I just saw a few Wranglers in my town with plows and figured it was a good idea.

I guess I didn't account for the wear and tear it wilk cause the Jeep.

Lee is right. With a plow there aren't too many issues they can't tie back to the plow. Pretty much the only thing left on your warranty is your stereo. Also for plowing, you are tied up in the winter cuz if it snows you HAVE to plow. You can't just do it when you feel like it. You can't make plans because if it happens to snow you have to stay home. I wouldn't put a plow on your jeep unless you just want to do your own driveway. Even then I wouldn't tho. A plow is about 2-3k. You can buy a lawn tractor with a blower on it or just a massive snowblower for that price

Of you want to make money tho, throw your tractor or blower on a trailer, tow it to ppls houses and use it. Personally I like a snowblown driveway better than plowed

4 wheeler and a blade are cheaper than that too.
