How much do you think I could get for my TJ?

Here are some specs:

-1998 Blue Jeep Wrangler

-Dana 44 rear axel

-Automatic

-4WD

-BF Goodrich All Terrain Mud Tires 35"

-Panasonic Head Unit with iPod plug in and control

Hard top and Bikini Top, along with an 'Easy Hoist A-top'

The rig is in great shape, doesn't leak. I bought it for $8,000 and am thinking of selling it to make some money back and then buy a newer one. I use it for my DD and those 35" tires burn gas like crazy. Any suggestions/tips would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Maybe 10 at the most, I had almost the exact set up on my 2000 and sold it for 10200, she only had 72K miles.

Also forgot to mention there is 133,000 miles on it.

*edit* Nevermind, I see your post now...lol

$8-8500 is average good luck on flipping it..

What upgrades besides tires???

These are all good places to start...... --> Official Kelley Blue Book New Car and Used Car Prices and Values , New Cars, Used Cars, Car Reviews and Pricing - Edmunds.com , N.A.D.A. Home Page

My first step in trying to sell it would be to toss it out on Craigslist and list it for a price of $9,000. If you find it is hard to get any bites, move it down to $8,500. I try to post things to sell on Craigslist first as it seem to be very responsive. Plus you get a lot of people that just want the item and don't care to do a lot of research, which is great for you as the seller. I sold my 2006 F-250 on it a while back and made about $3k profit by cushioning the price over NADA and KBB...lol

That's the plan! I think I might try for a little more than $8500 though. That wouldn't leave me much of a profit at all. I'm not in a rush so I'll probably start really high - around $11,000 and take offers. I think a big part of selling on Craigs is the way the AD is written and the pictures that go with it.

I think it would be cool to make a little profit money on it, by another one and modify it to how I would like it. I really want to Linex the exterior.

Thanks for the advice.
