Rubi parts , what are they worth ?

I have a chance to buy the 4 tires and wheels and springs and shocks off of an '06 Rubicon with 30 miles on everything . Whatta y'all think would be a fair price for all ?? Also i guess i should ask , these parts will fit my '98 Sport , right ? What do you think of these tires wit 3.07 diffs ? I'd rather not have to re-gear. Wishfull thinking maybe . :D
Thanks ................................. 409.

yeah...they should fit your jeep...the tires on the rubicon are
31's so you should be fine with your 3.07's...and i've seen the tires and wheels (combo together) go for 800 plus...sometimes a $1000...and i've seen springs go for about $120 and same price for the shocks but that might be a little high for both! now the tires and wheels on the rubicon are supposed to be very expensive...new the wheels are $250 a piece and the tires (new) are $180 plus

A while back, I bought a set of 5 Moabs, and MTR's for 700.00. But the guy could have gotten more, but he would have had to ship them to another guy, who wanted him to cover the cost of shipping.

I am getting ready to sell a set of springs, control arms, and shocks from my 05 Rubi as well, so I will watch to see what other people are selling them for.

I have a set of 31's on my 04 X, and it has 3.07 gears. It runs fine down the road. I do want to regear it for better performance off-road and a little better towing ability.

Can't say anything about the wheels/tires, but Do Not pay alot for Springs/shocks. Check EBay......there going real cheap.

Don't hold me to this......I wasn't there, but if memory serves me a member of my club scored Rubi Springs from a Stealership for $5 a spring. (this was during a Show & Shine / Swap meet at the dealership)

wow thats a good deal...but i checked ebay and the cheapest price i saw for rubi springs was over 100 dollars

well, think of it this way...with only 30 miles on them, they can be considered brand new....quadratecs price for each rubicon moab rim is 249 bucks.....theres a grand in wheels right there, unless the spare is included too, then theres 1250....then, the 31 inch MTRs are around 175 a tire..with the spare, thats 875 bucks...wheels and tires, and grand total of 2125 bucks...so, if you can get it for any less then that, more power to ya

mrbigjeep 07-10-2006 03:19 PM

oh yea i saw those but the bid could always go up...but then again i guess it could stay low!
