4x4 selector rod

I put on a 2in BL and the 4x4 would not stick in and it finally has gotten all bent up. Has anyone fabed something for it to work or bring it back down to the angle it should be? Pics would be great!

Most kits come with a bracket for the lever that fixes that. Could probably dremel out the console, but I would track down the bracket

To me, 2" and 3" body lifts cause more problems than they are worth. The transfer case shifter mount is bolted between the tub on the driver's side & the transfer case on the other. Your issue is that the body lift has lifted the transfer case shifter mechanism's driver's side mount side 2" higher than its transfer case side. It is now so crooked that the shifter mechanism is binding. A mounting bracket adapter is what you need.... or drop the body lift down to a more reasonable 1" height that doesn't usually affect the t-case shifter mechanism enough to worry about.

This.

Even with my 1.25" bl I could not get it to stay in 4 lo without getting underneath and pushing it in manually. 4 lo was just out of the lever's proper reach. I installed the relocation bracket that came with the bl and after some carefull adjustment the shifting is now better than ever.
