YAY! New Jeep

1 Attachment(s)
Hi All,

My boyfriend and I are a fairly young couple, we live close to ASU, and we just bought a new 2013 Jeep! We love love love it! I am dying to take it out to new places, but I have no idear where to take it! Need some advice and potential jeep friends to help us break it in/explore new places!
:)

If anyone wants to set up a time/date to go down some trails in the Mesa, Tempe, North Phoenix areas, please let us know! Now seeing how our Jeep is new, we are not ready to take it down "hard/expert" trails, for fear of something going wrong, but eventually we will get there. :wavey:

Thanks,

Alexa

Forest Road 143 over Four Peaks is pretty basic, good scenery.

Damn busy day that day for me. Don't think I'll be able to make this one. I've got a Men's breakfast with church in the AM and my little town is having our Founder's Day Party.

I'll shoot for the May 4th M&G, are kids okay to bring? I have a 2yr old who may love my Jeep even more than me!

I think they've had it on the east side before, but reading past threads on it, only westsiders were showing up.

Sorry everyone, I didn't see all of these messages until now! Thanks for offering to take us out and show us some trails! We may have already missed the trail runs planned for this weekend, but we are very interested in going in the future!

Is anyone interested in doing a run next week to Four Peaks? Let me know!

Thanks-

I'm talking to a buddy about doing it Friday.. We are both busy Saturday :( We normally do more wheeling than dirt roads but these views look too good to pass up

Where's the meet-up point? I **may** be able to make this, but there's like a 5% chance of that. Count me out for now, but I may sneak in last minute. If I can make it, I may bring one or two other Jeeps. Mine and my wife's baby shower is on Saturday, but she's insisting I head out Jeepin' for the day (ah, are you sure hunny...?). I was planning on helping with the shower prep until it starts at 2 or 3pm. When it starts, two of the other husbands and I are heading out for some fun in the desert west of the White Tanks (west valley). If I can get out early, I'll meet up and maybe with the other husbands. We'll be runnin a '99 with a 3" lift & 35"s (Tan), a stock 2010 JKU Sahara (Black) and a stock 2013 JKU Oscar Mike (Commando Green).

If we're not there, don't wait for us. I'll PM you my email address.

Hi BeanieAz,

Just read your message, first off, congratulations for your new baby! That's exciting, we all understand if that day is too busy for you! I haven't sorted out the exact place we are meeting yet- but once I have that info, I will post it on here, and email you as well! If we see the tan, black and Freedom Commando green, we will be sure to stop! I'll email you my cell# in an email too just in case you make it there!

Thanks!

I might make this run, I didnt make it up last weekend with the snow but have been wanting to get out there again. As far as food goes up there, you'll need to start your own campfire and have a grill to cook anything.
